Growing Strong Spines: School Education and Posture Program
Primary school children are using tablets and devices earlier than ever before and their growing bodies are especially vulnerable to poor posture habits that can affect their development.
High school students are averaging 7+ hours daily on laptops, tablets, and smartphones, creating unprecedented strain on developing spines. As technology becomes increasingly integrated into education, proper ergonomics has never been more crucial for preventing long-term musculoskeletal issues.
With over 20 years as a physiotherapist, I am on a mission to educate every school aged student in developing healthy posture habits from the start. I realise that every school is different and I develop customised ergonomic programs specifically for the school environment.
